Wabi
Wabi is an app generator from Eugenia Kuyda, the founder of Replika. You describe the tool you want in a simple prompt and Wabi builds it, then you can share it or remix someone else's. The name means less is more in Japanese, and the idea is personal software instead of the same big off-the-shelf apps everyone uses. Wabi asked Studio Dumbar/DEPT for the whole identity: positioning, visual identity, motion and sound.
The positioning is Your OS, Your World, Your Way, boiled down to one principle: Simply Personal. The logo is a geometric W built from round shapes, simple enough to sit on an app icon and to carry a sonic logo. Around it sits a library of orbits, round icons like the ones that mark the apps people make on Wabi, each filled with generated imagery so every one feels like its own small world.
Crisp type and pared-back colour leave the orbits to do the talking. In motion they gather, stack and drift like planets, and the system extends to UI sounds, a launch film soundtrack and early product and UI concepts, carried through to posters, billboards and bus shelters.
