Hueso, working with 1stAveMachine, made the launch film for WhatsApp's brand design refresh, unveiled as part of the Global Privacy Campaign. Instead of showing technical design specs, the film translates the new design system into feelings a general audience gets right away: a rainbow-colored voice message stands in for a color palette, and illustration and animation carry the rest. With over 2 billion users in 180+ countries, the film had to explain sophisticated brand work in terms anyone can read.
