"Shaped by Saaristo: a destination brand for the world's largest archipelago — over 40,000 islands in Finland's Archipelago Sea. Instead of inventing a name, Bond gave the existing Finnish word a voice, crafting letterforms from the actual outlines of eight real islands and letting the relationships between islands inform the whole design language, from posters and merchandise to augmented reality. Gold at the ADCE Awards and Grand Prix at Best of Finnish Advertising & Design — and the region now has resumed Finnair flights and new hotel investment to show for it."
